When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Robert Ciocâltea sped through Azuga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Codruț Bute. In the 11th minute, Fabian Tender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Filip Ciucă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eliodor Baican came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Azuga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Baican couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Filip Ciucă made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C.Olympique de Bucarest's Isac Ghionaru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Filip Ciucă notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of F.C.Olympique de Bucarest's Isac Ghionaru. Isac Ghionaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilian Merișor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of F.C.Olympique de Bucarest booed when Azuga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Merișor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azuga's Filip Ciucă got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mihail Postelnicescu fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.Olympique de Bucarest's protests and gave Mihail Postelnicescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, F.C.Olympique de Bucarest's Mihail Postelnicescu got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Azuga's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Lepuș came free, but Codruț Bute reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Tender took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Bute. Codruț Bute dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Ciocâltea to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, F.C.Olympique de Bucarest's Fabian Tender got a free kick in the 59th minute. Filip Ciucă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Eliodor Baican managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azuga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliodor Baican was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isac Ghionaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Ciucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 76 played minutes F.C.Olympique de Bucarest got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Tender. A collision led to Azuga getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nae Stanomir hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Ciucă in the 83rd minute of play forced F.C.Olympique de Bucarest's goalkeeper Isac Ghionaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Azuga's zone, Rareș Lepuș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Bute came out of the goal and Rareș Lepuș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despite being the better team, Azuga failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
