The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iordache Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Bute having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Filip Ciucă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cătălin Nica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rareș Isaicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cătălin Nica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Ciucă in the 21st minute of the match. Mircea Cutieru kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Filip Ciucă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Nica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Panait Zota's late challenge caught a Azuga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Zota helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Dinamo B.K. got a freekick which was hit by Panait Zota. 31 minutes into the game, Marcel Udrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cătălin Nica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Dinamo B.K.'s Aron Mălin got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eliodor Baican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Nica having to interfere. Emilian Merișor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Azuga's Emilian Merișor got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Valeriu Florescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Marcel Udrea made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Isaicu in the 54th minute of play forced Azuga's goalkeeper Codruț Bute to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codruț Bute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Cutieru in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Rareș Isaicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Bute saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Rareș Isaicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codruț Bute was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Filip Ciucă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Ciucă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cătălin Nica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Rareș Isaicu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Azuga's Codruț Bute. Codruț Bute was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codruț Bute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Mălin in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Marcel Udrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Nica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Azuga's zone, Rareș Isaicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Bute came out of the goal and Rareș Isaicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codruț Bute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Cutieru in the 88th minute of play. Codruț Bute showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Cutieru in the 89th minute of the match. Cătălin Nica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Udrea in the 91st minute of the match. Azuga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
