Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petru Mihăilă kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Marafet FC. Olimpiu Bărbuceanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viorel Moșneanu. 0-1. Marafet FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Dumitru Buricea scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Nae, making the score, 1-1. In the 15th minute Dumitru Buricea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Nae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Robert Bolborici came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Marafet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Bolborici couldn't finish the play. When Pavel Baicea fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marafet FC's protests and gave Pavel Baicea a yellow card for diving instead. Pavel Baicea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Aron Vătăşel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Robert Bolborici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Moșneanu having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ilie Pască had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Baicea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Viorel Moșneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dumitru Buricea to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dumitru Buricea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dya Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Buricea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Nae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valentin Rada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marian Mârzac kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Petru Mihăilă might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viorel Moșneanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 96th match minute, Marafet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Baicea to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Marafet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Rada came free, but Gigel Nae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marafet FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
