Ştefan Cubleșan's late challenge caught a Crint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ştefan Cubleșan helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Poli Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Cubleșan. Florin Eniceicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Muncelean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florin Eniceicu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Daniel Şantău came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Crint fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Şantău couldn't finish the play. Florin Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Eniceicu in the 18th minute of play. Daniel Şantău might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Muncelean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Şantău ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Tudor Gaiță notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Crint's Valentin Savin. Valentin Savin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Daniel Şantău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Şantău in the 31st minute of play. Florin Eniceicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Florin Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Şantău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Muncelean having to interfere. Florin Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Şantău in the 39th minute of play. Tudor Gaiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Savin having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Şantău had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Muncelean. Poli Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Şantău was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florin Eniceicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Daniel Şantău made a precise shot to the right of Florin Muncelean. Poli Iasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Cătălin Bacalu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ştefan Cubleșan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes in the game, Florin Eniceicu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Florin Muncelean having to interfere. Florin Muncelean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Eniceicu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Florin Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Eniceicu in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poli Iasi's Eugen Novac got a free kick in the 68th minute. Crint's Florin Eniceicu managed to work through Poli Iasi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Florin Eniceicu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Daniel Şantău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Florin Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
