In the 4thth minute of the game Vasile Oprea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tipari's Ionică Zdrobiş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cătălin Iovanovici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Zont's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Iovanovici came free, but Eliodor Mitescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Zdrobiş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Oprea, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dorin Staicu, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Cătălin Iovanovici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliodor Mitescu was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 66 played minutes Zont got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Dan. After 70th play minutes Cătălin Iovanovici shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Eliodor Mitescu and just under the crossbar into goal. When Tipari's Cătălin Iovanovici in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zont's goalie prevented a goal. If Gavril Lalescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cătălin Iovanovici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Mitescu having to interfere. Eliodor Mitescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Iovanovici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliodor Mitescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Hârciog in the 91st minute of play. Tipari's Cătălin Iovanovici got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Zont got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Ştiopul. Cătălin Iovanovici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tipari walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
