The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FCU CRAIOVA's attentive Albert Enache managed to snatch the ball when Dragoş Bădescu made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. If Anton Nițulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Damian Toader notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru. Ioan Chesaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Șerban Taşcu made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anton Nițulescu however managed to control. FCU CRAIOVA's Gavril Nistor managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Șerban Taşcu in the 15 minute of the game. Gavril Nistor struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Emilian Muncelean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCU CRAIOVA. Iurie Urderean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Emilian Muncelean made a huge save. Ioan Chesaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Toader in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Anton Nițulescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru. Ioan Chesaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Cernescu in the 23rd minute of play forced FCU CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Ioan Chesaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Iordache Cernescu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru. The audience was convinced that Șerban Taşcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ioan Chesaru was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Anton Nițulescu made a precise shot to the right of Ioan Chesaru. FCU CRAIOVA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The wind increased when Iurie Urderean made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru got control of the ball when Maxim Bulcă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Vulturar made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iordache Cernescu however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet as Iordache Cernescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ioan Chesaru. That made the score 0-6 in the 55 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Cernescu in the 59th minute of play forced FCU CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Ioan Chesaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Chesaru made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Șerban Taşcu sent off a good shot on target. Dragoş Bădescu made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FCU CRAIOVA's Albert Enache. In the 64th minute of the match, Iordache Cernescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ioan Chesaru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, FCU CRAIOVA's Iurie Urderean got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ioan Chesaru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Toader showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 67 minute of play. Ioan Chesaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Bulcă in the 70th minute. Ioan Chesaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Toader went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Iurie Urderean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emilian Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iurie Urderean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Bulcă in the 86th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Galesul's Ioan Chesaru threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iordache Cernescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 96 minutes into the game, Dragoş Bădescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ioan Chesaru. Dragoş Bădescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Galesul's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
