FCU CRAIOVA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ioan Chesaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Măgherușan in the 21st minute of play. After 21 played minutes FCU CRAIOVA got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Mihădaș. In the 25th minute, Cezar Sima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Robert Barbălată in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FCU CRAIOVA's Narcis Mihădaș. Ioan Chesaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Domuță in the 36th minute of play. Iurie Urderean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Jităreanu having to interfere. When Manuel Şendrea fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hanzesti SC's protests and gave Manuel Şendrea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Hanzesti SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Şendrea to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Hanzesti SC's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Urderean came free, but Rareș Jităreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FCU CRAIOVA's Ioan Chesaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FCU CRAIOVA from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Constantin Domuță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ioan Chesaru. The goal made the score 1-4. FCU CRAIOVA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Mihnea Suşu scored to the left of an out of position Ioan Chesaru, making the score, 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hanzesti SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
