Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boas's Manuel Bognar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Cârstea in the 5th minute of play forced Boas's goalkeeper Cristian Irimia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Manuel Bognar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Bognar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Boas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Omescu to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Irimia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Cârstea in the 16th minute of play. If Damian Cârstea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Cârstea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cristian Irimia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liviu Chițac was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Universitatea Craiova's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Universitatea Craiova's corner Liviu Chițac fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Irimia quite easily take care of the ball. Iordache Opriș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Irimia having to make a save. In the 36th match minute, Boas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Bognar to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Boas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iordache Opriș fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manuel Bognar took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Nicolae. Sebastian Nicolae dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 79th minute Damian Cârstea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Irimia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Cârstea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Irimia having to interfere. Sebastian Nicolae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Bognar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Cristian Nandriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Hârlău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Nandriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boas's Cristian Irimia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Cârstea in the 90th minute of play. Sebastian Nicolae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Bognar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Although Boas had been in control for most of the match, FC Universitatea Craiova still came away with the win.
