Zsombolya AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Aluneanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of YUVENTUS TORINO booed when Zsombolya AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Musta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Marius Aluneanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicodim Buhoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 minutes of play, YUVENTUS TORINO's Nicodim Buhoiu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Isăilă was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marian Murgu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YUVENTUS TORINO's protests and gave Marian Murgu a yellow card for diving instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in YUVENTUS TORINO reached it. After some careless play in the YUVENTUS TORINO defense, Gabriel Vulturar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ştefan Buteanu. The YUVENTUS TORINO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ştefan Buteanu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Marius Aluneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YUVENTUS TORINO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Aluneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Marius Aluneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Aluneanu got free with Manuel Isăilă in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marius Aluneanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Manuel Isăilă made a huge save. When Aurel Niță, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ştefan Buteanu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dinu Stamate hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Martin Agudaru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and YUVENTUS TORINO's Ştefan Buteanu didn't even have to move. Manuel Isăilă was a little too slow when Marius Aluneanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-4. Manuel Isăilă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Aluneanu in the 83rd minute. Aurel Niță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Buteanu having to interfere. Ştefan Buteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Niță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicodim Buhoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Aluneanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Isăilă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. YUVENTUS TORINO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
