Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) After 3 played minutes Zsombolya AS got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Musta. Petruț Coraș came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Zsombolya AS's Aurel Niță. But to his dismay, Aurel Niță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Robert Cucerzan made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Isăilă. Zsombolya AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gabriel Vulturar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Petruț Coraș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Penfolds®'s Mihnea Cutieru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Isăilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Zsombolya AS's Mugurel Arșanu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Aurel Niță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Niță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zsombolya AS's Gabriel Vulturar got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iulian Sava charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iulian Sava the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iulian Sava kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute Claudiu Gheorghiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mihnea Cutieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Gheorghiță in the 55th minute of play forced Zsombolya AS's goalkeeper Manuel Isăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Niță struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Petruț Coraș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zsombolya AS. With an all-out effort, Zsombolya AS's Petruț Coraș threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurel Niță, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zsombolya AS's Manuel Isăilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Gheorghiță in the 62nd minute of play. Claudiu Gheorghiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Isăilă having to interfere. Gabriel Vulturar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Petruț Coraș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petruț Coraș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Niță in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Aurel Niță rounded Penfolds®'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Zsombolya AS's Gabriel Vulturar got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurel Niță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Coraș having to interfere. Robert Cucerzan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Claudiu Gheorghiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zsombolya AS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
