In the 40th minute Albert Dăianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tomescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, F.C. Fiscalia's Feliks Pyrzyce made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Arapașu was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Feliks Pyrzyce ran back to his position shaking his head. Iordache Răuțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Manuel Tomescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Nicolae Nicodim from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Iurie Arapașu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the referee blew the final whistle, SEVERIN could leave the field as winners, despite F.C. Fiscalia having more of the ball for most of the match.
