Iordache Răuțu scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Buzea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Hritcu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes SEVERIN got a freekick which was hit by Denis Hritcu. If Costin Murărașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Octavian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Arapașu having to interfere. A hard shot 34 in the game by Costin Murărașu from a close distance when the talented Iurie Arapașu managed to make a qualified save. SEVERIN's players were relieved. 40 minutes into the match, Iordache Răuțu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihnea Buzea. DROJDIERII's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Răuțu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mihnea Buzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Iorgu in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nechifor Octavian was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Albert Dăianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Buzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Octavian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, SEVERIN's goal looked a bit too open when Nechifor Octavian came free, but Iurie Arapașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DROJDIERII's Costin Murărașu got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihnea Buzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Răuțu in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SEVERIN's Ionel Iorgu got a free kick in the 80th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Nechifor Octavian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iurie Arapașu. SEVERIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nechifor Octavian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. DROJDIERII's Costin Murărașu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The DROJDIERII supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SEVERIN's performance. The match ended with a win for SEVERIN.
