In the 13th minute of the match Eliodor Drăgan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petruț Coraș skillfully saved the ball. YUVENTUS TORINO's Marius Aluneanu got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Penfolds®'s zone, Marius Aluneanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Coraș came out of the goal and Marius Aluneanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marius Aluneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Coraș having to interfere. Petruț Coraș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Istrătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Penfolds®'s Petruț Coraș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Buhoiu in the 36th minute of play. David Istrătescu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Claudiu Gheorghiță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudiu Gheorghiță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petruț Coraș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Stamate in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, YUVENTUS TORINO's Ştefan Buteanu got control of the ball when Robert Cucerzan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marius Aluneanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petruț Coraș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marius Aluneanu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Penfolds® getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Robert Cucerzan hit a great ball. Ştefan Buteanu came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Penfolds®'s Robert Cucerzan. But to his dismay, Robert Cucerzan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Cucerzan got free with Ştefan Buteanu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ştefan Cosâmbescu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Penfolds® defense, Nicodim Buhoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petruț Coraș. The Penfolds® fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petruț Coraș should have stopped the shot. Petruț Coraș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Aluneanu in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, YUVENTUS TORINO's Ferdinand Cunea got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ionuț Scutaru charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionuț Scutaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marius Aluneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
