Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurel Niță started the match with the kick off. Petruț Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Vulturar, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Bibanul FC booed when Zsombolya AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Zbanţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bibanul FC's Ivan Dragotescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zsombolya AS. After having played for 9 minutes, Anton Ignătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bibanul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Ignătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Ivan Dragotescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Agudaru was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tiberiu Spiridon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anton Ignătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gabriel Vulturar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Zsombolya AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Vulturar couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Anton Ignătescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Isăilă, 1-0. Anton Ignătescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Isăilă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Ignătescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Octav Pascu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Manuel Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Ignătescu in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Ignătescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Iulian Sava hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Tiberiu Spiridon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bibanul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Spiridon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zsombolya AS's zone, Anton Ignătescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Isăilă came out of the goal and Anton Ignătescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiberiu Spiridon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Isăilă having to interfere. Mugur Păvăloae took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Isăilă. Zsombolya AS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nechifor Zbanţ kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Manuel Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Spiridon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Bibanul FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Chirițescu. Manuel Isăilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ignătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Petru Brânza fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bibanul FC's protests and gave Petru Brânza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zsombolya AS booed when Bibanul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Brânza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Vulturar could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Petruț Colin however easily saved by the left post. Manuel Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Ignătescu in the 81st minute of the match. When Bibanul FC's Tiberiu Spiridon in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zsombolya AS's goalie prevented a goal. Tiberiu Spiridon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Isăilă having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Zsombolya AS's Iulian Sava got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Anton Ignătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bibanul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Ignătescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Isăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Tiberiu Spiridon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Zsombolya AS's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Spiridon came free, but Manuel Isăilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Anton Ignătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bibanul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Ignătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Bibanul FC were the better team. Bibanul FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
