Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Augustin Ispirescu made the kick off which started today's match. Beghinesti FC's Avram Dorian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Beghinesti FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Beghinesti FC's Aurelian Danciu got a free kick in the 7th minute. Doru Andronic, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of FC Tg-Mureș booed when Beghinesti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Torouţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Dorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Şandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Daniel Oravițan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beghinesti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Oravițan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Oblemenco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Calistrat Câmpeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Augustin Ispirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Dorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beghinesti FC's zone, Francisc Şandru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Dorian came out of the goal and Francisc Şandru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Augustin Ispirescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Avram Dorian, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Beghinesti FC defense, Francisc Şandru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avram Dorian. The Beghinesti FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avram Dorian should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Daniel Oravițan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augustin Ispirescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Dorian having to interfere. When Vlad Astafiei fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beghinesti FC's protests and gave Vlad Astafiei a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calistrat Câmpeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tg-Mureș's zone, Mircea Torouţ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Oblemenco came out of the goal and Mircea Torouţ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 minutes, Florin Bungeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Tg-Mureș and the Beghinesti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the FC Tg-Mureș defense, Calistrat Câmpeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco. The FC Tg-Mureș fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Oblemenco should have stopped the shot. Calistrat Câmpeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ovidiu Oblemenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Oravițan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Daniel Oravițan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco. FC Tg-Mureș's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Oravițan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to FC Tg-Mureș getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gică Encuțoiu hit a great ball. Daniel Oravițan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Ovidiu Oblemenco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 88 minutes, Daniel Oravițan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beghinesti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Oravițan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Oravițan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Oblemenco having to interfere. In the 96th minute Augustin Ispirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Dorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Beghinesti FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
