Eric Petculescu came out of the goal and Nae Vişoianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eric Petculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nae Vişoianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Petculescu having to interfere. A collision led to Tintirim CSM getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Valentin Loga hit a great ball. Tintirim CSM's Eric Petculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Vişoianu in the 14th minute of play. Eric Petculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Gherasim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Mircea Zgârcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Petculescu. Tintirim CSM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mircea Zgârcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Zgârcu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Mircea Zgârcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octav Zberea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Pordea having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Gherasim to strike the kick off in the second half. Romeo Gherasim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Petculescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Romeo Gherasim slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. Romeo Gherasim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Petculescu was a little too slow when Romeo Gherasim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-4. Romeo Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eric Petculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Valentin Loga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Pordea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nae Vişoianu got free with Eric Petculescu in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Romeo Gherasim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Octav Zberea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tintirim CSM's Eric Petculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Tintirim CSM from getting a goal against them. Nae Vişoianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Petculescu having to interfere. Romeo Gherasim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Petculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Eric Petculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Gherasim in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Nae Vişoianu lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Eric Petculescu. Gheoca's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
