FC Tg-Mureș's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Ispirescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nichifor Ciolpan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Ciolpan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Tg-Mureș booed when BadMotherLuckers-OS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Ciolpan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Şandru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisc Şandru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gavril Tomozei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihai Elian hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Augustin Ispirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Tomozei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Raţiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Tg-Mureș's Ovidiu Oblemenco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Lăzărescu in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, BadMotherLuckers-OS's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Ispirescu came free, but Gavril Tomozei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BadMotherLuckers-OS's goalkeeper Gavril Tomozei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
