Spectators: 7067 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 100) Augustin Ispirescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Francisc Şandru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Petculescu was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Eric Petculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Francisc Şandru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tg-Mureș's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Şandru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Petculescu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tg-Mureș's Augustin Ispirescu. But to his dismay, Augustin Ispirescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eric Petculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Ispirescu in the 28th minute of the match. Augustin Ispirescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eric Petculescu having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcis Barna during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute of the match, Valentin Loga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ovidiu Oblemenco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Octav Zberea struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ovidiu Oblemenco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tintirim CSM. Teodor Dinu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octav Zberea to make the kick off. Gică Encuțoiu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eric Petculescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute, FC Tg-Mureș's Florin Bungeanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Valentin Loga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Oblemenco having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Augustin Ispirescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eric Petculescu, 0-3. Augustin Ispirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Tintirim CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Ispirescu came free, but Eric Petculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, FC Tg-Mureș's Augustin Ispirescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Petculescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Tintirim CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Ispirescu came free, but Eric Petculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Encuțoiu got free with Eric Petculescu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Ispirescu in the 92nd minute of play forced Tintirim CSM's goalkeeper Eric Petculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, FC Tg-Mureș's Francisc Şandru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Petculescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Tintirim CSM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Tg-Mureș were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
