During the 13th minute of the match Tiberiu Petcu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tiberiu Petcu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 14th minute, Tiberiu Petcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Macri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rareș Ciolpan made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Alin Iliescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C CARINA MARIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CS Carp eDiem the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in F.C CARINA MARIA's zone, Virgil Podgoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Breazu came out of the goal and Virgil Podgoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgil Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Breazu having to interfere. If Virgil Podgoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Şendrea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rareș Ciolpan having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Macri notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CS Carp eDiem's Rareș Ciolpan. Rareș Ciolpan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the game, Cristinel Voican was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CS Carp eDiem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C CARINA MARIA the free kick. After 34 played minutes CS Carp eDiem got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Voican. Virgil Podgoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Codruț Breazu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgil Podgoreanu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Codruț Breazu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CS Carp eDiem. Stelian Capisizu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Breazu having to interfere. Virgil Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Breazu having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Macri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rareș Ciolpan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Macri's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 73rd minute Ferdinand Macri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Ciolpan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Podgoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgil Podgoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Codruț Breazu made a huge save. Stelian Capisizu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The F.C CARINA MARIA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
