Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emanuel Panduru made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute Nichifor Bojonca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Bălace saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Fabian Uncuţă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Ştefoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Iustin Cocârlă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. OTELUL GALATI's Basarab Ştefoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Uncuţă in the 13th minute of play. Horia Jecu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Ştefoi having to interfere. The Tarsa fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Tarsa's Valentin Popic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 21 minutes, Emanuel Panduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Panduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Petre Bouleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Panduru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Basarab Ştefoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horia Jecu scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basarab Ştefoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th match minute, Tarsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Jecu to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Horia Jecu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basarab Ştefoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, OTELUL GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Jecu came free, but Basarab Ştefoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in OTELUL GALATI's zone, Fabian Uncuţă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Ştefoi came out of the goal and Fabian Uncuţă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Tarsa's Horia Jecu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basarab Ştefoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nichifor Bojonca made the kick off in the second half. Valer Novacovici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horia Jecu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Basarab Ştefoi made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Fabian Uncuţă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Uncuţă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basarab Ştefoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, OTELUL GALATI's Petre Bouleanu got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in OTELUL GALATI's zone, Horia Jecu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Ştefoi came out of the goal and Horia Jecu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Horia Jecu could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Basarab Ştefoi however easily saved by the left post. Emanuel Panduru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Ştefoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Uncuţă, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarsa's Horia Jecu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basarab Ştefoi. That made the score 0-5 after 73 minutes of play. 77 minutes into the match, Horia Jecu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Ştefoi. OTELUL GALATI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horia Jecu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Horia Jecu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Iurie Bălace showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Andriescu in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Valer Novacovici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OTELUL GALATI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarsa the free kick.
