Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aron Dumitrana kicked off to start the match. Nichifor Bojonca succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Eduard Ungur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Basarab Ştefoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Valer Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OTELUL GALATI's Basarab Ştefoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save OTELUL GALATI from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 15 in the game by Eduard Ungur from a close distance when the talented Basarab Ştefoi managed to make a qualified save. OTELUL GALATI's players were relieved. Ovidiu Comșa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Ştefoi having to interfere. Aron Dumitrana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basarab Ştefoi having to make a save. Cornel Condescu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Nichifor Bojonca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nichifor Bojonca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of OTELUL GALATI booed when Hazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Baniu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, OTELUL GALATI's Augustin Hoancă broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nichifor Bojonca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Eduard Ungur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hazu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Ungur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basarab Ştefoi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hazu's Eduard Ungur. But to his dismay, Eduard Ungur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luca Andriescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Denis Goiciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, OTELUL GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Dumitrana came free, but Basarab Ştefoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, OTELUL GALATI's Valer Novacovici got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Aron Dumitrana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basarab Ştefoi was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Basarab Ştefoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Dumitrana went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Valer Novacovici hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Basarab Ştefoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Ungur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Iustin Cocârlă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Andriescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Goiciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
