When Dobrotu CSS's Emilian Butuc in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Silviu Harbuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Ionescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pietroasele CF's Silviu Harbuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Ionescu in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Marcu Ionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobrotu CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Ionescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silviu Harbuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Dragota struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Silviu Harbuz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dobrotu CSS. After 43 minutes of play, Pietroasele CF's Lucrețiu Vâlcu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Grigoroiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcu Ionescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Harbuz having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosmin Tomoiu made a kick off. Pietroasele CF's Silviu Harbuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Ionescu in the 60th minute of play. Dobrotu CSS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Zberea in the 62nd minute. The corner led to Dobrotu CSS's David Dragota getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Marcu Ionescu lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Silviu Harbuz. Dobrotu CSS's Niculae Pavelescu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcu Ionescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Harbuz having to interfere. In the 81st play minute Niculae Pavelescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silviu Harbuz. 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Niculae Pavelescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobrotu CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Pavelescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silviu Harbuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silviu Harbuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Ionescu in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcu Ionescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviu Harbuz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the match was over Dobrotu CSS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pietroasele CF throughout the match.
