After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Laurențiu Răica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panatau CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Răica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Goiciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Cornel Condescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurențiu Răica struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Denis Goiciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panatau CSM. The audience was convinced that Aron Dumitrana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nae Ioanițiu was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The Hazu fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Hazu's Aron Dumitrana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hazu's Aron Dumitrana got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes in the game, Eduard Ungur dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Panatau CSM's Laurențiu Răica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Goiciu. That made the score 1-1 after 44 minutes of play.

The supporters of Hazu booed when Panatau CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Jurca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Aron Dumitrana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduard Ungur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Nae Ioanițiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nae Ioanițiu was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Aron Dumitrana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aron Dumitrana really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. With a little luck, Panatau CSM's Nae Ioanițiu got control of the ball when Eduard Ungur tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hazu's Ovidiu Comșa got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Eduard Ungur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Dumitrana in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nae Ioanițiu saved Panatau CSM from getting behind. A collision led to Panatau CSM getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Basarab Borza hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Aron Dumitrana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nae Ioanițiu. Aron Dumitrana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Eduard Ungur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eduard Ungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nae Ioanițiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Dumitrana struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Nae Ioanițiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hazu. In the 93rdth minute of the game Aron Dumitrana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panatau CSM's Nae Ioanițiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Basarab Borza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hazu played a much better game than Panatau CSM and deserved their victory. The Panatau CSM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
