Emanuel Lozovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rareș Andrițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Lozovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, F.C. Anina Banat's Virgil Ispir made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silviu Harbuz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the game, Virgil Ispir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Anina Banat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pietroasele CF the free kick. A collision led to F.C. Anina Banat getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Virgil Ispir hit a great ball. Silviu Harbuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Lozovan in the 21st minute of the match. Rareș Andrițoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Emanuel Lozovan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Silviu Harbuz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rareș Andrițoiu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Silviu Harbuz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Anina Banat. Olimpiu Hodorog kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Vâlcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Victor Gavruță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Emanuel Lozovan notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pietroasele CF's Silviu Harbuz. Silviu Harbuz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Anina Banat's goalkeeper Victor Gavruță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute Cosmin Tomoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Gavruță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rareș Andrițoiu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the F.C. Anina Banat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Andrițoiu couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Lozovan to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Pietroasele CF's Lucrețiu Vâlcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Gavruță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Anina Banat's zone, Lucrețiu Vâlcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Gavruță came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Vâlcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosmin Tomoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Gavruță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Vâlcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. F.C. Anina Banat's Victor Gavruță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Tomoiu in the 71st minute of play. With 75 minutes on the clock, Ştefan Harnagea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of F.C. Anina Banat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pietroasele CF:s goal. After 83 played minutes F.C. Anina Banat got a freekick which was hit by Panait Mirea. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Anina Banat's zone, Lucrețiu Vâlcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Gavruță came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Vâlcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cosmin Tomoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Cosmin Tomoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Victor Gavruță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 98th minute, Lucrețiu Vâlcu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Gavruță was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Pietroasele CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of F.C. Anina Banat for a fine match.
