Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ion Dindelegan kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ion Dindelegan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Radu Miron to make any attempt to save it. Virgil Berevoescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Suciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ion Dindelegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radu Miron made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gavril Şimoc sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Martonfalva CS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sandu Cigu hit a great ball. If Dan Suciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Nichifor Tărbac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Setu AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martonfalva CS the free kick. Dan Suciu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Virgil Berevoescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martonfalva CS. 47 minutes into the match, Dan Suciu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Berevoescu. Setu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Suciu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Suciu to make the kick off. A collision led to Setu AC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Martin Geoană hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Martonfalva CS's Iulian Cioculescu tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Virgil Berevoescu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Iustin Pipirig sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Pipirig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Berevoescu having to interfere. Romeo Constantiniu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Constantiniu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Setu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Constantiniu to maneuver through the defense. If Ion Dindelegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Gavril Şimoc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Setu AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Dindelegan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radu Miron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radu Miron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Şimoc in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Dan Suciu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 83 minutes into the game, Martin Geoană was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Setu AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martonfalva CS the free kick. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Martonfalva CS's Iulian Cioculescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Virgil Berevoescu. Iustin Pipirig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Virgil Berevoescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
