Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fc Cojasca's Daniel Bălășescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Fc Cojasca's Petru Rainea threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Bălășescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Petru Rainea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bălășescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelian Schiau in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petru Rainea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stelian Schiau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Bălășescu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Petru Rainea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Cojasca. Stelian Schiau might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petru Rainea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stelian Schiau ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Bălășescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Bălășescu struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Petru Rainea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Cojasca. Petru Rainea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stelian Schiau in the 26th minute. Sumugiu's Petru Rainea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Balaeț in the 31st minute of play. Tudor Doicaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Dănășel having to interfere. Stelian Schiau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Rainea having to interfere. Anton Zbanţ kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Daniel Bălășescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Schiau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Rainea having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Daniel Bălășescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Rainea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Cojasca's Stelian Schiau got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Tudor Doicaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codruț Dănășel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Daniel Bălășescu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sumugiu's Petru Rainea. Petru Rainea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Bălășescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Petru Rainea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Vrabie charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Vrabie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petru Rainea went to the wrong direction when Costin Avarvarei was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 75th minute, Daniel Bălășescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petru Rainea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Bălășescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sumugiu's zone, Daniel Bălășescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petru Rainea came out of the goal and Daniel Bălășescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petru Rainea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stelian Schiau went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Petru Rainea came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Cojasca's Daniel Bălășescu. But to his dismay, Daniel Bălășescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Fc Cojasca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
