After a rather tough play, Tibaresti's Ferdinand Gâgea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Rareș Rareș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Curtean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ivan Grecu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rareș Rareș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibaresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Rareș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Zdrelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th match minute, C.F. Corabia XII-H was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Vătafu to maneuver through the defense. Corabia XII-H's Valer Firu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Tibaresti getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mădălin Călinescu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihnea Curtean during the 44th minute. Corabia XII-H's Martin Ghișe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
C.F. Corabia XII-H's Valer Firu got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Grecu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Curtean, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Martin Ghișe managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F. Corabia XII-H's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Ghișe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Grecu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
