Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 9 played minutes Burlug got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Demian. After a defensive mix-up in Las-o-n tepșe's zone, Constantin Hrebenciuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Dogaru came out of the goal and Constantin Hrebenciuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Iurie Corvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Măguran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Cângea, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Burlug getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Horia Neagoe hit a great ball. When Adrian Lițiu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Burlug fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Lițiu couldn't finish the play. Adrian Lițiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dorin Dogaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Hrebenciuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Nechifor Demian charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Demian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Burlug's Nechifor Demian got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Hrebenciuc to make the kick off. Dorin Dogaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Hrebenciuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Las-o-n tepșe's Dorin Dogaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Hrebenciuc in the 56th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Las-o-n tepșe's Doru Cângea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Măguran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Viorel Bobeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Liviu Neața had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Dogaru came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Burlug's Adrian Lițiu. But to his dismay, Adrian Lițiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 84th minute, Alin Iorgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las-o-n tepșe's goalkeeper Dorin Dogaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Las-o-n tepșe got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Neața. Constantin Hrebenciuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Dogaru having to interfere.
