After having played for 21 minutes, Ionuț Cretan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandrde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Cretan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. fc.rasnov's Filip Urderean got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irinel Mercea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Pantiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the fc.rasnov defense, Liviu Buricea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Mercea. The fc.rasnov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Mercea should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, fc.rasnov's Filip Urderean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Capătă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 41st minute Emilian Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Mercea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paul Vornicu fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandrde's protests and gave Paul Vornicu a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Vornicu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emilian Pantiș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Irinel Mercea was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. In the 86thth minute of the game Emilian Pantiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc.rasnov's Irinel Mercea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Pantiș in the 88th minute of play forced fc.rasnov's goalkeeper Irinel Mercea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Emilian Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Mercea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Capătă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Urderean in the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the fc.rasnov players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sandrde.
