Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Dumitrachescu in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcu Pantea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Latoi's Șerban Birișu got a free kick in the 17th minute. With an all-out effort, CsMotru's Marcu Pantea threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damian Dumitrachescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcu Pantea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Dumitrachescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Iorgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Latoi got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Birișu. Damian Dumitrachescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. In the 46th match minute, Latoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Afloarei to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Butnaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Marcu Pantea made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Vrânceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Stroia in the 52nd minute of play forced Latoi's goalkeeper Marcu Pantea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Butnaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcu Pantea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sebastian Vrânceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CsMotru's Narcis Ispas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fabian Butnaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Fabian Butnaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CsMotru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Butnaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CsMotru fully deserved thier win.
