After 21 minutes, Nicu Semeghin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LEII and the LOYAL TM players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC LEII getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cezar Vrabie hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Fărcășan in the 27th minute of play forced FC LEII's goalkeeper Gabriel Mangra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LOYAL TM's David Mincă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save LOYAL TM from getting a goal against them. Eusebiu Fărcășan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebiu Fărcășan got free with Gabriel Mangra in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduard Ficsinescu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Sorin Cosoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOYAL TM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Cosoreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC LEII's Eduard Ficsinescu got a free kick in the 76th minute. David Mincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Ciociu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Gherguț during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC LEII booed when LOYAL TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position.
