Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mugur Florean took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Dorel Ghiorman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurențiu Alexiu skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel Mangra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Florean in the 4th minute of the match. Mugur Florean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gabriel Mangra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Dumitru Poenaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antocenii UFC and the FC LEII players grew even worse after the yellow card. During the 15th minute of the match Dumitru Poenaru completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dumitru Poenaru a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Antocenii UFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dumitru Poenaru hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nistor Ciociu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LEII's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Ciociu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurențiu Alexiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes FC LEII got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Roşu. If Liviu Roşu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Alexiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Ficsinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurențiu Alexiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Ciociu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Nistor Ciociu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Roşu made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Liviu Roşu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurențiu Alexiu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Mugur Florean fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antocenii UFC's protests and gave Mugur Florean a yellow card for diving instead. Mugur Florean kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Antocenii UFC's Laurențiu Alexiu got control of the ball when Nistor Ciociu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Roşu in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Alexiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tiberiu Stroescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Traian Nanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antocenii UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Nanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Mangra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Traian Nanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Mangra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes FC LEII got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Ficsinescu. Traian Nanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gabriel Mangra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC LEII's Gabriel Mangra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Nanu in the 85th minute of play. FC LEII's Nistor Ciociu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Antocenii UFC's zone, Liviu Roşu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Alexiu came out of the goal and Liviu Roşu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nistor Ciociu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC LEII's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
