When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Fabian Butnaru put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Laurențiu Cândrea. Narcis Ispas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Vlăsiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Tottenham AB's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dumitrachescu came free, but Laurențiu Cândrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Zdrelea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelian Vlăsiu had several of the CsMotru's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Narcis Ispas as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 24th minute, Stelian Lupoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narcis Ispas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Vlăsiu in the 32nd minute of the match. Damian Dumitrachescu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Laurențiu Cândrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CsMotru. When CsMotru's Damian Dumitrachescu in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tottenham AB's goalie prevented a goal. If Damian Dumitrachescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. CsMotru's Ionică Stroia got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tottenham AB's Laurențiu Cândrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Dumitrachescu in the 47th minute of play. After having played for 49 minutes, Nichifor Crivac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CsMotru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichifor Crivac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Nichifor Crivac helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CsMotru's Nichifor Crivac got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute, Fabian Butnaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CsMotru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Laurențiu Cândrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Dumitrachescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, CsMotru's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Zdrelea came free, but Narcis Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Tottenham AB's goalkeeper Laurențiu Cândrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Butnaru.
