Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stanestii FC's Leontin Bârsan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maxim Iovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Ciocan in the 4th minute of the match. Sandu Ghițescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes Stanestii FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Gherasescu. After 13 played minutes Petrolul Berca got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Tunar. After 14 played minutes Stanestii FC got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Bârsan. Nechifor Horodincă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Bourceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Leontin Bârsan took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nechifor Horodincă. Nechifor Horodincă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Costel Ciocan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Petrolul Berca! The referee gave Stanestii FC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicolae Mihuț, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Petrolul Berca's Nechifor Horodincă. 0-2. Ionel Bourceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Cornel Runcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Petrolul Berca getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mihăiţă Bărbulescu hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Ionel Bourceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nechifor Horodincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Costel Ciocan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Maxim Iovan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ionel Bourceanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Horodincă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionel Bourceanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Petrolul Berca's Nechifor Horodincă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Petrolul Berca from getting a goal against them. Mihăiţă Bărbulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Maxim Iovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Nechifor Horodincă managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Stanestii FC's Ionel Bourceanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Petrolul Berca's Răzvan Aalexoaiei got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ionel Bourceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ionel Bourceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Vulpăşin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nechifor Horodincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Petrolul Berca's zone, Ionel Bourceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nechifor Horodincă came out of the goal and Ionel Bourceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Costel Ciocan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxim Iovan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 82 minutes into the game, Costel Ciocan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Maxim Iovan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes, Horia Balcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stanestii FC and the Petrolul Berca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Petrolul Berca booed when Stanestii FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Balcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxim Iovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Gușatu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Petrolul Berca were victorious despite being under pressure from Stanestii FC for much of the match.
