Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Dumitrachescu started the match with the kick off. CsMotru's Fabian Butnaru got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Butnaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Gorcea having to interfere. Francisc Mutu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Nicu Rizea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nichifor Crivac kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Fabian Butnaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Damian Dumitrachescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ac Milan's Aurelian Gorcea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabian Butnaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelian Gorcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fabian Butnaru sped through Ac Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelian Gorcea. Ionică Stroia hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sebastian Jurcuț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Ispas having to interfere. Nicu Rizea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Narcis Ispas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 minutes of play, CsMotru's Fabian Butnaru made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelian Gorcea was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Jurcuț to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelian Gorcea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Butnaru in the 55th minute. Nicu Rizea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Narcis Ispas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ac Milan's zone, Damian Dumitrachescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Gorcea came out of the goal and Damian Dumitrachescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Lucian Bernea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ac Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CsMotru the free kick. Lucian Bernea kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, CsMotru's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Rizea came free, but Narcis Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nechifor Iorgu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Nicu Rizea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Tiberiu Cozac from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Aurelian Gorcea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Damian Dumitrachescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Butnaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ac Milan's Aurelian Gorcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Dumitrachescu in the 98th minute of play. The CsMotru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CsMotru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
