The Tottenham AB fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Tottenham AB's Horea Zdrelea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Sebastian Vrânceanu came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Latoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Vrânceanu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tottenham AB's Emil Panduru got a free kick in the 29th minute. Horea Zdrelea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcu Pantea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Valentin Nestor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Pantea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Latoi were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelian Vlăsiu to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Tottenham AB's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vrânceanu came free, but Laurențiu Cândrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Vrânceanu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Cândrea. The supporters of Tottenham AB booed when Latoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Vrânceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Cândrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vrânceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aurelian Vlăsiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Latoi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
