Aurelian Gorcea made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ionel Bourceanu sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Stanestii FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jurcuț came free, but Maxim Iovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ac Milan's Aurelian Gorcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Bârsan in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ac Milan's Damian Șofran got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Leontin Bârsan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aurelian Gorcea was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Leontin Bârsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, Ac Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Bernea to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sebastian Jurcuț made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Leontin Bârsan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Gorcea was relentless in the 51st minute of the game.
