The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, LOYAL TM's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dumitrachescu came free, but David Mincă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Dumitrachescu in the 17th minute of play forced LOYAL TM's goalkeeper David Mincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manole Cretan fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOYAL TM's protests and gave Manole Cretan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LOYAL TM's Manole Cretan got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sorin Cosoreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Damian Dumitrachescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Fabian Butnaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CsMotru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Butnaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded CsMotru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LOYAL TM.
