Spectators: 6688 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1023, VIP seats: 2) FC STRENGARIII's Grigore Abraham started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Creteni got a freekick which was hit by Ion Văduvescu. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creteni's goalkeeper Emilian Oardă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Leontin Olariu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Creteni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC STRENGARIII the free kick. Ion Văduvescu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Mihnea Albescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sorin Păuceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Oardă having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Panciu to make the kick off. Emilian Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Zota in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Creteni getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mihnea Albescu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ferdinand Zota managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC STRENGARIII's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Zota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Oardă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Grigore Abraham sped through Creteni's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emilian Oardă. 80 minutes into the game, FC STRENGARIII's Sorin Păuceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilian Oardă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Văduvescu in the 83rd minute of play forced FC STRENGARIII's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Stroici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Radu Coraș notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Creteni's Emilian Oardă. Emilian Oardă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th match minute, FC STRENGARIII was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Păuceanu to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Zota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
