To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fc Dreamers's Ernest Braia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Todoran in the 71st minute of play. Ernest Braia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Vorniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Balomiresti's goalkeeper Aurelian Cruceru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Dragomiroiu. Iustinian Volosin charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Volosin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Balomiresti fully deserved thier win.
