Lucrețiu Stroici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balomiresti. After a rather tough play, Balomiresti's Iustinian Volosin got a free kick in the 10th minute. FC STRENGARIII's Lucrețiu Stroici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Todoran in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Gică Todoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Stroici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th play minute Grigore Abraham came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aurelian Cruceru. 2-0. A collision led to FC STRENGARIII getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Doru Dugulescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Todoran in the 29th minute of play forced FC STRENGARIII's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Stroici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Balomiresti's Vasile Pârâianu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Radu Coraș could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Aurelian Cruceru however easily saved by the left post. Aurelian Cruceru didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Radu Coraș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelian Cruceru. Balomiresti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radu Coraș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grigore Abraham made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Grigore Abraham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC STRENGARIII fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Aurelian Cruceru came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC STRENGARIII's Grigore Abraham. But to his dismay, Grigore Abraham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The audience was convinced that Grigore Abraham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelian Cruceru was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Balomiresti's Iustinian Volosin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Doru Dugulescu fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC STRENGARIII's protests and gave Doru Dugulescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Balomiresti booed when FC STRENGARIII was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Dugulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Balomiresti defense, Radu Coraș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelian Cruceru. The Balomiresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelian Cruceru should have stopped the shot. Lucrețiu Stroici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Cămărășescu in the 74th minute of play. Iacob Bianu's late challenge caught a FC STRENGARIII's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Bianu helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 minutes, Liviu Cândreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC STRENGARIII and the Balomiresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Liviu Cândreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Aurelian Cruceru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Coraș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Grigore Abraham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Aurelian Cruceru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petruț Ghimiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Balomiresti's Gică Todoran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucrețiu Stroici. Lucrețiu Stroici yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-1. When the referee ended the match the FC STRENGARIII players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
