When Paul Borăscu fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joseri's protests and gave Paul Borăscu a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Joseri got a freekick which was hit by Paul Borăscu. In the 32nd minute, Eduard Beraru fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adrian Vâtcă, passed just outside the right post. Eduard Beraru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Adrian Vâtcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Joseri defense, Eduard Beraru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Vâtcă. The Joseri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Vâtcă should have stopped the shot. Adrian Vâtcă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduard Beraru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Panduru made a kick off. Vali Panduru struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ilie Pietreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joseri. FC Victoria Bordusani's Ilie Pietreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Victoria Bordusani from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Beraru in the 76th minute of play forced Joseri's goalkeeper Adrian Vâtcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
