Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gică Todoran took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, FC Victoria Bordusani's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Todoran came free, but Ilie Pietreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Beraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Cristoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aurelian Cruceru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Rareș Vorniceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balomiresti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Victoria Bordusani the free kick. In the 19th minute, Sever Cristoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilie Pietreanu was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Gică Todoran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gică Todoran really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gigel Gavrilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balomiresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Gavrilescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Pietreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, FC Victoria Bordusani's goalkeeper Ilie Pietreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gică Todoran. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iacob Bianu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iacob Bianu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Balomiresti's Rareș Vorniceanu got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Gică Todoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Cristoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Cruceru having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Balomiresti got a freekick which was hit by Octav Cioiu. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Beraru to strike the kick off in the second half. Gică Todoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the match, FC Victoria Bordusani's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Todoran came free, but Ilie Pietreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilie Pietreanu came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Balomiresti's Gică Todoran. But to his dismay, Gică Todoran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The throw-in from Șerban Siadbei in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Balomiresti's Iacob Bianu. Eduard Beraru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aurelian Cruceru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigel Gavrilescu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Eduard Beraru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Gică Todoran put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Pietreanu. FC Victoria Bordusani's Ilie Pietreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Todoran in the 91st minute of play. Ilie Pietreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Todoran in the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Balomiresti had won after a very even match.
