Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Panait Stanomir kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Panait Stanomir fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 8th minute, Horaţiu Aelenei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Ocland's Panait Stanomir ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilie Geambașu. Ilie Geambașu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Panait Stanomir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ocland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC. ZALAU the free kick. In the 12th minute, Panait Stanomir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Vlad Enoaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilie Geambașu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. FC. ZALAU's Ilie Geambașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Stanomir in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Panait Stanomir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Stanomir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vlad Enoaia struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ilie Geambașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocland. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Vlad Enoaia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 33rd minute of the match Sandu Lechințan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Geambașu skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute Panait Stanomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Geambașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Geambașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Stanomir, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Vlad Enoaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Aelenei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nichifor Iorgovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corneliu Teofil in the 51st minute. FC. ZALAU's Ilie Geambașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Stanomir in the 60th minute of play. The Ocland fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Ocland's Panait Stanomir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mădălin Nedelea's late challenge caught a FC. ZALAU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mădălin Nedelea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ocland getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mădălin Nedelea hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Panait Stanomir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Stanomir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes FC. ZALAU got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Bărănescu. Ilie Geambașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Stanomir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes FC. ZALAU got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Miron. Ocland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
