Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Mugur Albuț started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Otomani defense, Manuel Turbatu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Teodor. The Otomani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Teodor should have stopped the shot. Ernest Pârvuță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Troncotă in the 6th minute. Cosmin Dinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ernest Pârvuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Otomani getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cosmin Dinescu hit a great ball. Eugen Novăceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Deportivo La Coruna's Ernest Pârvuță got control of the ball when Mugur Albuț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otomani were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Deportivo La Coruna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Troncotă took the corner. In the 24th match minute, Otomani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Braru to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo La Coruna booed when Otomani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Nicolcioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otomani's Adam Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Filipașcu in the 27th minute of play. Damian Braru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo La Coruna's zone, Olimpiu Elian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Pârvuță came out of the goal and Olimpiu Elian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Elian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costică Musceleanu to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Manuel Turbatu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Otomani's Adam Teodor. Adam Teodor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Musceleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosmin Dinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Pârvuță having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Mugur Albuț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otomani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Albuț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernest Pârvuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo La Coruna's zone, Olimpiu Elian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Pârvuță came out of the goal and Olimpiu Elian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute Eugen Novăceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Pârvuță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Troncotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Elian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ernest Pârvuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorin Melinescu's late challenge caught a Otomani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorin Melinescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo La Coruna's Dorin Melinescu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Manuel Turbatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Adam Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Deportivo La Coruna were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Otomani side.
