Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Aurel Iftode came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Cojmanesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Iftode couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo La Coruna's Gigel Filipașcu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Narcis Nanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ernest Pârvuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliodor Brănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narcis Nanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo La Coruna's Manuel Turbatu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Costică Musceleanu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aron Onete. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Turbatu in the 23rd minute of play forced Cojmanesti's goalkeeper Aron Onete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Filipașcu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cojmanesti's Eliodor Asachi tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Narcis Nanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernest Pârvuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxim Toacsen hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurel Iftode in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Pârvuță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costică Musceleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Nanu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Edgar Condeescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Pârvuță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cojmanesti's Aron Onete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cojmanesti from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Cojmanesti's goalkeeper Aron Onete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Turbatu. Ernest Pârvuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Nanu in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Cojmanesti booed when Deportivo La Coruna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Filipașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Aurel Iftode got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Maxim Toacsen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Ernest Pârvuță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, Cojmanesti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
