Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mugur Albuț got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Otomani defense, Dacian Nuțu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Teodor. The Otomani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Teodor should have stopped the shot. Otomani's Eugen Novăceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Gigel Cotuțiu made a precise shot to the right of Adam Teodor. Otomani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Emilian Hurmuzescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Novăceanu in the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Romania's Ion Sticlaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Teodor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Otomani's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Nuțu came free, but Adam Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Nuțu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Otomani's Pompiliu Ciuvică got a free kick in the 39th minute. Daniel Benga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Nuțu in the 45th minute of play. Romania's Dacian Nuțu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigel Cotuțiu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dacian Nuțu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Teodor. The goal made the score 0-4. After 59 played minutes Otomani got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Elian. Emilian Hurmuzescu came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Otomani's Eugen Novăceanu. But to his dismay, Eugen Novăceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Otomani's Mugur Albuț got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Zegreanu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Romania's Iosif Zegreanu got a free kick in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Gigel Cotuțiu took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Adam Teodor to make any attempt to save it. 78 minutes into the match, Otomani's goalkeeper Adam Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Varga. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Mugur Albuț put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Emilian Hurmuzescu. Romania's Emilian Hurmuzescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Troncotă in the 84th minute of play. Adam Teodor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petre Varga in the 85th minute. Emilian Hurmuzescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Troncotă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Otomani's goalkeeper Adam Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Nuțu. Gigel Cotuțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romania's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
