Marius Mitică made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristide Tănăsocă in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, misuu team's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Chiriță came free, but Ivan Zamfira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Haidaru's Vintilă Negreanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Zamfira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Haidaru defense, Aristide Tănăsocă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marius Mitică. The Haidaru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marius Mitică should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes misuu team got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Amânaloae. Gelu Mihaiu, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 35 minutes into the match, misuu team's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Negreanu came free, but Ivan Zamfira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Chiriță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ivan Zamfira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Petrică Amânaloae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintilă Negreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Zamfira having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viorel Oardă to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcel Mateianu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Zamfira. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. After 66 played minutes Haidaru got a freekick which was hit by Luca Şimonca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Tănăsocă in the 73rd minute of play forced Haidaru's goalkeeper Marius Mitică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, misuu team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vintilă Negreanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute, Marcel Mateianu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Zamfira. The goal made the score 1-3. The audience was convinced that Vintilă Negreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Zamfira was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Haidaru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
