The audience was convinced that Teodor Corbea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristi Antipa was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Teodor Corbea might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristi Antipa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Corbea ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Daimacă struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Cristi Antipa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcalia. Arcalia were furious when Luca Finteșteanu was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 22nd minute, one of Arcalia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arcalia. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Extraordinario. Constantin Ene stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristian Pomuț. 0-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Teodor Corbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcalia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Corbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Extraordinario's zone, Teodor Corbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Antipa came out of the goal and Teodor Corbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Extraordinario's Edgar Gherasim got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 44th match minute, Arcalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Niță to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Pomuț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Gherasim in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodor Corbea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Extraordinario's Cristi Antipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Loga in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Extraordinario's zone, Teodor Corbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Antipa came out of the goal and Teodor Corbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristi Antipa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Corbea's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Extraordinario's zone, Teodor Corbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Antipa came out of the goal and Teodor Corbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Manuel Ioneasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Extraordinario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Extraordinario's Calistrat Dincă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ciprian Silişteanu in the 75 minute of the game. Francisc Niță kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dan Daimacă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodor Corbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Antipa having to interfere. Extraordinario's Cristi Antipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Daimacă in the 85th minute of play. Cristi Antipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Corbea in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Niță in the 90th minute of play forced Extraordinario's goalkeeper Cristi Antipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Daimacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Antipa having to interfere.
