Arcalia's Cristian Pomuț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Mihăilescu in the 5th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Teodor Corbea notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Andreicnst's Cornel Todericiu. Cornel Todericiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horea Otețea lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A long shot from Alin Gârdescu in the 29th minute of play was well struck, but Cristian Pomuț made a really good save at the right post. When Teodor Corbea came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Arcalia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Corbea couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes, Teodor Corbea made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Andreicnst's Cornel Todericiu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Traian Mihăilescu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Traian Mihăilescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Traian Mihăilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Arcalia's Teodor Corbea got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Traian Mihăilescu to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Arcalia's Teodor Corbea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornel Todericiu. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play. In the 67th minute Robert Arieșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Pomuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arcalia's Teodor Corbea got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Andreicnst booed when Arcalia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Corbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodor Corbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisc Niță in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornel Todericiu saved FC Andreicnst from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Francisc Niță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodor Corbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cornel Todericiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Arcalia's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Griguță came free, but Cristian Pomuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ion Nisipeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Arcalia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Andreicnst throughout the match.
